Just managed to grab a quick chat with the two Azeri singers. Told them about ERN ativities – they were both really nice and seemed genuinely interested. Ell (the male singer) is studying international relations and said how important Eurovision was for Azerbaijan. Nikki explained that Azerbaijan take the event very seriously and that the opportunity to host the event would be treated very seriously and that they would invest a heavily in putting on the best show ever. (ie beat Russia’s 2009 production!)

The pace is picking up here – the ERN are here and ready to go to San Marino’s party tonight. More on that tomorrow.
