The second event to mark the launch of the ERN has taken place. Hosted by the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Oslo, a selection of papers on existing research projects were presented and open discussion considered the future direction of our members work.
Thanks to everyone involved the day was a huge success. We look forward to seeing you at future ERN events.
Inaugural ERN Panel: Eurovision & the ‘New’ Europe

Hello from Norway and the official launch of the ERN!
The first of two inaugural events to mark the launch of the ERN has taken place in Oslo. A panel of academics, media professionals, fans and others interested parties met in the Litteraturhuset to discuss Eurovision and the “New” Europe in 2010. After a lively discussion covering a range of issues, the next event at the University of Oslo (28 May 2010) will focus on Setting the Agenda for Eurovision Studies.
